Highlights for November

It wasn’t as eventful as October but there are always a few takeaways.

Code refining for WooCommerce Booking & Appointment Plugin

We have been working on refining the code structure for the WooCommerce Booking & Appointment Plugin since the last 3 months. I mentioned about it in last month’s post.

In November, we worked on fixing the compatibility with various addons of the plugin.

We plan to release this version in the first week of January 2015.

Updating Lite versions

The lite versions of Order delivery date & Abandon Cart weren’t updated since almost 1.5 years! A long period I know!

Finally we managed to upgrade those & add some extra features to those in addition to just fixing known issues. You can download them from:

Woocommerce Abandoned Cart Lite

Updating Premium versions

We released a small update to the WooCommerce Order Delivery Date Pro plugin. It fixed a bug with the “Enable Delivery Date” checkbox & Mandatory field setting.

Marketing

Since I wanted to focus on the marketing aspect, we did a few things which could help with it.

  • Placed banner ads on websites like WPMayor.com, Sellwithwp.com
  • Purchased the Affiliate WP plugin (yet to set it up)
  • Purchased the Monarch plugin from ElegantThemes to focus on the social media marketing. Infact I purchased their whole package that includes 80 themes & 5 plugins. Their Divi theme is the most amazing theme I have ever seen so far. $70 was not a bad deal after all.

Blogging

I wanted to start blogging more frequently on Tyche Softwares. That was kind of stagnant, with hardly 1 post in a month.

In November, I did manage to publish 9 posts. Though I wanted to blog more, but I am still satisfied.

Overall, it was a month where we managed to touch all aspects of the business: Premium plugin updates, Lite version updates, Marketing & Blogging.
