We have been in process of fixing bugs in the Order Delivery Date Pro Plugin for WooCommerce in past 25 days. This update (v7.5) is a major update in which we have fixed in total 174 issues including some major and minor bugs.
We planned on releasing this update before year-end and we have managed to achieve it 🙂 A huge thank you to Vishal for keeping everyone in line & helping us achieve the desired results.
In one of our other plugins, we have followed a pattern to fix the bugs raised in the repository by adding them in modules and by categorizing them into major and minor bugs. Some of the modules with some major issues are:
- Client Issues: Fixed some bugs wich are reported by the customers of the plugin.
- Custom Delivery Settings: Fixed some custom delivery settings combination bugs. Bugs related to settings added for the shipping methods, product categories and shipping classes together.
- Auto-populate first available delivery date: Fixed some bugs for the first available date which is auto-populated in the delivery date field.
- PHP 7: When the plugin was used with PHP 7, it resulted in warnings and incorrect data creation. The same has been fixed.

We’ve had approximately 120 commits from 3 developers (Moxa, Bhavik, Rashmi) in this release. Testing the same is not a single person job. I’d like to express my gratitude to Apeksha, Komal and Bhavik for taking on the daunting task along with the everyday support.
